Denim Jacket Makeover

Denim Jackets are used to be a street fashion thing but this 2013 Denims is now trending to the fashion world. I looked up to Ashish Gupta London fashion week show and Just Cavalli’s runway in which both collections are featuring Denim jackets and vest.

I am very inspired for these two collections, so I ended up grabbing my old Denim jacket and give a try. But upon wearing it I felt that it's a little bit less for my style. Having my fashion brain melt I ended up with a little Tutorial on how to put on spice on your old and boring Denim jacket and make it updated to fashion.

Print the Prints

I never enjoyed on being constructive and having rules to follow when it comes to fashion. In this fashion world a lot of rules do exist and some of this maybe true but always remember that there is always an exception to every rule. For this month I decided to show you different Rules that most girls believe in and I hope that this will help you to your everyday fashion.

Malikhain Rings (Divisoria)

Lulu Guinness Leopard Clutch (Rustans)
Forever 21 (Glorietta)

First Rule: is you should not mix two or more prints together- this rule is absolutely false and can be modified. I know girls are thinking what do I mean by modified? Wearing big prints versus big print is a mess, wearing small prints over small prints is tragedy but wearing SMALL prints added with BIG prints is a YES! For my Preppy Sunday I tend to break this rule and modified it. Here my dress and flats has understated print while my clutch bag has bolder and larger print, if you can see both prints are not fighting with each other but are complimenting with one another.  My girl tip for today is you should have an attitude to be strong and confident in breaking rules not just in fashion but as well in life. Be chic!

Mint IT's So Hot For Such A Cool Color

This summer you will find yourself wrapped in heavenly fabrics, adorned with fabulous vivid color, as well as soft neutrals, and pastels. I have read from a magazine that the big color trend for 2012 summer is mint green... Yes you read right - mint green is the biggest color trend for this summer. The racks will be full of fashions that all done up in a soft whimsical version of mint green.

Summer Make up tips (part II)

Concealer is one of the most important products in any woman's beauty arsenal.  As foundation can make your face look heavy in summers. So, I suggest to avoid this over-do in your make-up and pick a good concealer instead.Yet many women are afraid of concealers because they don't know how to find the right shade or apply it properly, the tip is find a concealer one shade lighter than your skin tone.
Here we show you how to apply concealer.

Concealer looks most natural when you work in "sheer layers and build it up gradually," according to the editors of Allure's "Confessions of a Beauty Editor."

To properly apply concealer, apply several dots of concealer under the eyes, then use the pad of your ring finger as it is the most stiff among all ( to tap it on (always tap, never rub). Apply concealer on other uneven spots on the face -- including the chin, and around the nose and mouth if need be -- and tap it on.

 From Max Factor’s website:
A very “intelligent” concealer: not only it instantly covers dark circles and blemishes but the practical sick allows such a precise application that it makes small wrinkles and imperfections disappear.

I have #07 Ivory which I believe is the lightest shade available

Dust some fine, loose powder over your face to set your makeup. I find mineral loose powder lighter to use than other loose powder available in the department store. Another trick is apply a loose powder applied with a fluffy brush as it is "the secret to good concealer."

I love this mineral powder as it does not settle on fine lines or pores. It also gives me a look that is so natural & gives your skin a beatiful glow. I pick the intensity 2.0 as suits well on my skin color.

Make your make up stay long

I am really busy this past few days as I went back to study . While studying I was thinking what TIPS could I give my girlfriends out there for this summer so I came up to make a series of Make up Ideas on how to be beautiful while enjoying the sun.

My first Tip is to TAKE TIME TO PRIME

The key to long-lasting foundation and color is the most commonly skipped step: primer. Seriously—the stuff works. All you need is a pea-size dot of a lightweight, oil-free formula; apply it to moisturized skin before your concealer and foundation. For this look I used L'OrĂ©al Paris Studio Secrets Professional Color Correcting Primer- anti- redness. The consistency is very liquid-y and very build-able, and you need such a tiny little amount, it'll definitely last you forever!

Each if the three professional correctors is formulated to address your unique skin type:
Anti-Redness: neutralizes redness
Anti-Dull Skin (light skin): illuminates and adds warmth to light complexions, and
Anti-Dull Skin (medium/deep skin): gives a radiant healthy glow to medium/dark skin tones.

Basic for my Summer

Summer comes along and what I love with summer is that you can play around fashion. Today I wore my basic comfortable jeans and add my Retro top from Zara (honestly don't know what to call this shirt haha :p). Some Fashionista advise to wear something colorful to play summer but it doesn't mean you have to change your whole wardrobe, all you need is colorful accessories. See how I turned this basic to a summer outfit. I hope I have inspired you, so what are you waiting jump into your closet and mix match. Good Luck!
